About This Game

Step into the shadows as Tsukikage, a ninja seeking revenge for his father's death. In this classic action game, you will slash your way through hordes of enemies to confront a level boss and uncover the truth behind the tragedy. The game is known for its fast-paced combat and the ability to switch between weapons at any time, allowing you to adapt your strategy on the fly.

You are not limited to just one tool in your arsenal. You can choose from four distinct weapons: the Muramasa katana for close-range strikes, Uzha shurikens for ranged attacks, Raitake bombs for area damage, and the Shoryusai sickle/chain for unique grappling moves. Collecting power-up items scattered throughout the stages will help you survive the increasing difficulty.

The Amiga version of Ninja Spirit is noted for its atmospheric music, which sets a tense mood as you navigate through dark environments. However, players should be aware that the gameplay can feel stiff compared to other versions of the title. The adjustable difficulty settings are a helpful feature, allowing you to tailor the challenge to your skill level since there is no option to save your progress mid-game.

Combat requires quick reflexes and careful positioning. You must watch out for enemy attacks while looking for opportunities to strike back. The lack of save functionality means that each run is a test of endurance, making every decision count as you try to reach the end of each stage. You can also try more Amiga games from the same system.
